Recreation Millage

Hamtramck Recreation Department is funded by a 10-year voter approved millage that is up for renewal this year. For about $0.40 cents per day, collected via property taxes, funds are used for pool operations, and to provide free and low cost community programs, events, park improvements, and recreational activities for Hamtramck’s youth, adults, and seniors.
